November 11: Exposure gear - dive safety, but make it fashun
Choosing the right exposure protection - wetsuits, drysuits, rash guards, and the like - can make or break a dive. Comfort is king when it comes to preventing the chill, stings, or sunburn that can distract from a fantastic underwater experience! Come hear about the differences between kinds of exposure protection, what works best for different environments, choosing the best fit, and how to care for your suits to extend its longevity for dives to come!

November 18: Packing for Dive Trips
Now that you’ve got your gear, chances are you’ll want to take it somewhere exciting! Packing for air travel is always tricky, especially with weight restrictions. Our team is here to give you the tips and tricks for a seamless journey, answering any questions about what to bring with you versus rent when you get there, when to check versus carry-on, and how best to stow specialized equipment you may not have traveled with before, like cameras, regulators, and dive lights. We’ve seen it all - if you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers!
Meeting Saturday, November 18 from 2-4 PM at the shop. RSVP here!
November 25: Small Business Saturday
You know the drill - it’s Small Business Saturday! Come by and support your local business AND feed your diving needs in one fell swoop. Finally grab that regulator or BCD you’ve had your eye on, or stock up on dive essentials like clips, buffs, dive socks, DSMBS, reels, and all the things! The deals only last a short time, but your gear (properly cared for) can last a lifetime! (Just like the memories…). Special sales to be announced soon!
December 2: Putting together your Save-A-Dive-Kit
Part of being a diver is expecting the unexpected. Having a well-stocked “Save-A-Dive Kit” ensures the less-welcome unexpected doesn’t derail a perfectly lovely excursion; seasoned divers never leave home without one! The key is knowing what to include, whether you're setting out abroad or an hour from home. From snapped mask straps, leaky drysuits, misbehaving regulators and everything else, we’ll walk you through what you need to fix it all when you’re on the go.
Meeting Saturday, December 2 from 2-4 PM at the shop. RSVP here!
December 9: Lights, Camera, Action! Dive cameras and dive lights
Pics or it didn’t happen! Underwater photography is tricky enough that we gave it its own magazines, and that goes for the gear, too! Our on-staff photo fanatics can tell you all about the newest photography gear, what lenses to select before you get in the water (am I shooting macro or mantas?) and the extras that can steady your camera for the perfect shot. Plus: you might be snapping a shot of a sequestered lobster in its hidey-hole, or just cruising for nocturnal critters sans camera after dark, but lighting makes all the difference! We’ll shine a light on your luminosity options for any dark purpose.
Meeting Saturday, December 9 from 2-4 PM at the shop. RSVP here!
