Ice Skating at the Sculpture Garden - February 12, 2018
Brrrr…What better way to enjoy this cold weather than to go ice skating on the National Mall! Come meet other local divers and test your skills on the ice.
When: Monday, February 12, 2018 starting at 6:30 PM. We’ll try to get tickets for 7:00 PM. Come early and enjoy drinks in the cafe!
Where: The National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden Ice Rink is located on the National Mall at 7th Street and Constitution Avenue NW. During the evening, when the Gallery and Sculpture Garden are closed to the public, access to the ice rink and Pavilion Café is restricted to the entrances at Constitution Avenue and Madison Drive near 9th Street.
The nearest Metrorail stops are Judiciary Square on the Red Line, Archives–Penn Quarter–Navy Memorial on the Yellow/Green Lines, and Smithsonian on the Blue/Orange Lines. Metrobus stops are located on 4th Street and 7th Street NW.

The National Gallery of Art Ice Rink will be closed when it rains or when the temperature dips below 20°F. Check with the shop for the latest updates.
Admission (two 45-minute sessions, beginning on the hour)
$8.00 for kids 12 and under, students with valid ID and skaters 50 and over
Skate and Locker Rentals
Skate rental: $3.50 (ID required)
Locker rental: $0.50 ($5.00 deposit required)
Layered, warm clothing that does not restrict movement, gloves, and helmets (for beginners) are recommended.
With a panoramic view of the Sculpture Garden, the Pavilion Café’s menu includes pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Wine and beer are also available. Open Monday-Thursday until 7:00 PM.
