With the holidays behind us, does it feel like your wetsuit might have shrunk a size or two? Are you thinking about how your swimsuit will fit on your next scuba trip? Would you like to know how you can continue to improve your buoyancy and air efficiency? Join us for another discussion on making scuba diving part of a healthy lifestyle. Georgetown University professor of physiology and Blue Planet Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Ryan Downey, will lead an interactive discussion about scientifically validated ways to improve your body composition. We’ll talk about tips and tricks for fitness in your everyday life and ways to make improving your health as easy as possible. We’ll also talk about how your body composition affects your diving including buoyancy control, air consumption, and risk for scuba injuries such as DCS. Bring your questions for the Q&A!
